How garment remodelling works

Every project starts with an inquiry and a garment assessment. We review the construction, fabric condition, seam allowances, and the fit you want before discussing the best approach.

For redesign work, we prepare a concept review and scope the project before any approval. If extra materials are needed, they are quoted separately and only used once the plan is confirmed.

Stitch Craft reshapes garments with a clear process, measured fitting, and practical guidance on what the fabric can support.

Alteration work is documented with a written scope, and any additional changes are approved before we continue. Where available, we also match original thread and trim to keep the finish consistent.

Finished garments are checked again at collection so small final adjustments can be handled carefully without changing the agreed design. Results depend on the garment’s original construction and available fabric.
